To advocate that saving our world also means the preservation of our home, motherland and culture for our children and grandchildren. We hold that strong families are the guarantee for protecting Planet Earth, ending a wasteful way of life and spreading a culture of responsibility. We hold that the key to the future of humankind is strengthening families materially, spiritually and morally. We believe that the family is the global solution, and that the family is the most secure community where individuals can realise their full potential.
The Pro-Family Foundation was established by President of Hungary Katalin Novák. President Novák is married to husband István Veres, who is also an economist. The couple have three children: Ádám, Tamás and Kata. Katalin Novák participated in developing Hungary’s independent family policy concept and was in charge of the area as state secretary and minister within the government. She is the architect of several – already implemented- family policy measures, a mother and leader committed to Hungarian women, the inventor and architect of the Stipendium Peregrinum Scholarship Programme, an advocate for the vulnerable and the supporter of Hungary’s cultural and natural values.
The curator of the Pro-Family Foundation is Gergely Ekler. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University with a degree in English and history. He is married with two sons. Gergely Ekler is currently Head of the Office of Sándor Palace, and was formerly Strategic Secretary of State for Families.
